Proposed Strategic Development Plan Submitted to Ministers

Clydeplan have today, in accordance with its Development Plan Scheme, submitted the Proposed Glasgow and the Clyde Valley Strategic Development Plan (January 2016) to Scottish Ministers for approval.

Copies of the Proposed Strategic Development Plan have been deposited at every public library in the Glasgow and Clyde Valley area, at the planning offices of the Councils of East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Glasgow City, Inverclyde, North Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, South Lanarkshire and West Dunbartonshire, and at the Clydeplan office. The documents are available for inspection during normal office hours free of charge.

The Proposed Strategic Development Plan was published for consultation over a six week period from Monday 18th January 2016 to Monday 29th February 2016 and a number of representations were received.

An Examination will be held by the Scottish Government’s Directorate of Planning and Environment Appeals into those representations.
