The Scottish Ministers have today approved, with modifications, the second Strategic Development Plan for the Glasgow city region.
Welcome to the website of the Glasgow and the Clyde Valley Strategic Development Planning Authority (Clydeplan).
Clydeplan comprises the eight local authorities of East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Glasgow City, Inverclyde, North Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, South Lanarkshire and West Dunbartonshire Councils who work together on strategic development planning matters.
The principal role of Clydeplan is to prepare and maintain an up to date Strategic Development Plan (SDP) for the area. This process involves engagement through joint working and consultation with a number of key stakeholder organisations and the wider community.
The first SDP for the Glasgow and the Clyde Valley city region was approved by Scottish Ministers in May 2012. The SDP and its related documents can be accessed here.
